The Scientific American Journal published a study showing that due to soil depletion, crops grown decades ago were much richer in vitamins and minerals than the varieties most of us get today. Duh! Remember when you were a kid and your parents reminded you to take your vitamins. Well, like all those times you scoffed at them as a kid and now realize as an adult they kind of knew what they were talking about, this is one of those times!
They are actually vitally important to maintain long term health and improve your quality of life as you age. They can also help slow down the aging process. AMAZING!
- Make sure it includes vitamins A, C, D, E and K, as well as potassium, zinc and iodine.
- It should contain 100% of your daily value of most vitamins and minerals.
- To maximize absorption, split your vitamin in two and take half in the morning and half in the evening. Once you get into the habit, it’ll be easy peasy!

Calcium is notoriously known for healthy bones and teeth. It is pretty essential to a high quality of life. In addition to building bones calcium helps our blood to clot, our muscles to contract, and our heart to beat. Just a few things we need for survival, no big deal. 🤷♀️
Every day, we lose calcium through our skin, nails, hair, sweat and waste. Who knew?!
